ANZAC DAY – 25th April
Raising the Flag on ANZAC Day
Observed on 25 April each year, Anzac Day was originally to honour the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who fought at Gallipoli against the Ottoman Empire during World War I.
Anzac Day remains one of the most important national occasions of both Australia and New Zealand.
Typically on this public holiday, dawn services are held all over the country and have became a common form of Anzac Day remembrance.
These events are generally followed by social gatherings.
Sydney Functions Catering has over many years provided catering services to many groups, with Sausage Sizzles at RSLs, BBQ picnics for those that wish to be out and about.
You may wish to order as a “DIY,” enjoy a fully cooked BBQ or Roasts with Salads, hot accompaniments, bread rolls or simply finger foods delivered to the venue of your choice.
For large groups you may wish to cater on site where we can provide you with our “Staff Catered” which would also include buffet tables, serving bowls, utensils and any other party items you may require.
Call us and our friendly staff will help you in planning the perfect ANZAC Day.
